Experience
Julian began his legal career as a public defender in Boston, MA, before returning to Chicago to join the City of Chicago Law Department. There, he handled high-profile civil rights litigation and became one of the youngest attorneys promoted to Senior Counsel, supervising junior attorneys and trying multi-million-dollar cases. Julian holds a B.A. magna cum laude in Political Science from Howard University and a law degree from Southern University Law Center, where he was an editor of the Journal of Race, Gender & Poverty and a Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Fellow.
